The Home Pro fire protection system is completely self contained and is easy to use. A simple quarter turn of a lever activates the unit. It instantly and automatically produces a powerful projection of fire suppression and fire prevention foam. No power source is needed ...there is no need for a water source ...and no training is required to operate it. Even when the hose is full of foam it is still easy for one person to move about. Recharge is simple and can be done by the homeowner. Maintenance requires checking the level of the nitrogen or air cylinder once a year. For longevity of service, the Home Pro fire protection system has a protective coating powder-coat paint. All pipe and fittings are made of stainless steel, brass or non-corrosive materials. If shielded from sunlight and protected from freezing, maintenance should be practically zero for the lifetime of the unit. The shelf life of the Class A foam is 25 or more years and can be purchased from several sources. The Home Pro fire suppression and fire prevention system is shipped complete with 100" feet of lightweight hose and Class A or B foam. Upon delivery just add water and the unit is ready to operate. Fire Solutions provides a Class A or B foam with each Home Pro unit. This superior foam has a proven track record for efficient fire suppression and protection of unburned fuels--and it is non-toxic and biodegradable. This foam does a terrific job in suppressing wood, cloth, peat, and related fuel type fires. The National Institute of Standards and Technologies has determined that foams increase the fire suppression efficiency of water by 3 to 5 times. |
